‘Ocupar-Habitar’ en una intervención fotográfica realizada por los alumnos del Máster en Fotografía y Diseño de ELISAVA en el Museo Can Framis en colaboración con la Fundació Vila Casas.

El proyecto investiga la eterna e inestable narrativa entre la fotografía y la pintura, así como sus relaciones de poder y las que se establecen entre los artistas consolidados y los artistas emergentes. En esta instalación, la colección pictórica y la arquitectura del Museo Can Framis se convierten en fuente principal de inspiración y en plataforma para el trabajo creativo de los artistas participantes. Sus trabajos miran al museo y a su contenido desde múltiples puntos de vista, usando la fotografía como herramienta y medio para (re)interpretarlos.

‘Ocupar-Habitar’ is a photography exhibition made by the students of the Master in Photography and Design of ELISAVA in collaboration with Fundació Vila Casas and will be inaugurated next Saturday, May 20th.

The project researches the eternal and unstable narrative between photography and painting, as well as their relationships of power and the ones established between consolidated and emerging artists. In this installation, the pictorial collection and the architecture of Can Framis museum become a main source of inspiration and a platform for creative work of the participating artists. Their work looks at the museum and its content from multiple perspectives, using photography as a tool and means to (re)interpret them.
