'(a)simetrías’ is a photographic installation conceived and carried out by the students of the Master’s Degree in Photography and Design of Elisava for the Can Framis Museum in collaboration with the Vila Casas Foundation.

The exhibition brings together the photos of eleven emerging artists who demand visitors to free themselves from social conventions and open up to new realities. With this goal, their images invite to a series of challenging reflections about gender roles and binarism as a social frontier.

Can Framis serves, once again, the students of the Master in Photography as the ideal environment to reveal themselves against the established in a constructive dialogue in which each one takes as a starting point one of the works of the permanent collection of the museum. Likewise, the architecture of the space provides the habitat in which these works, located in the walls of the building, come to life building relevant statements.
