Our students participate in the project Where Shall We Meet? organised by PSV and coordinated by oir lecturer Toni Amengual.

Today, Barcelona is one of the most touristic cities in the world.
Toni Amengual and the Education Department of Photographic Social Vision propose a participatory photographic experience to reflect on the implications and the relations that exist between tourists and the local population.
We work with different groups of people living in Barcelona and invite them to document the tourist phenomenon in the city. We use photography as a tool to portray passers-by around Arts Santa Mònica and interview them to discuss their particular perception of tourism. The resulting photographs and interviews are pieced together daily to create the mural you can see in the Espai Residència, where reactions and relationships generated during the experience are shown.
