The Art Photo Bcn fair is a specialized event that brings the general public closer to the works of national and international photographers. With the fresh format of a young fair, it contemplates a close meeting in which galleries, schools, exhibition halls and independent curators take part in order to commercialise their works and publicise their authors.
Since the last edition the event splits into two in the presential sphere, in the cloisters of Arts Santa Mònica, and in the virtual one, through the custom-built online platform. The Viewing Room format is the best bet to take pleasure in the exhibited artworks. It encourages the interaction between the public and the professionals, facilitating the contact and the direct selling, broadening the temporal and geographical impact of this photographic appointment.
